We started in the heart of Malacca, with just one cozy outlet and a vision to make hotpot more exciting through our signature conveyor belt experience. It wasn’t always easy, but word spread — and soon, friends, families, and food lovers from all walks of life came to enjoy the unique way we serve warmth, flavor, and togetherness.
Today, we've grown to five outlets, including Johor and the Klang Valley, but our heart remains the same: to serve great food, with great vibes, to great people. Whether you’re here for a solo meal or a full table of laughter and bubbling pots, you’re always welcome at Kim Dae Wok.

why i started.
Kim Dae Wok started as a simple decision — not just as an investment, but as a way to support my cousin’s dream of bringing something different to the local food scene. There wasn’t a big plan at first, just a shared belief in good food, a fun concept, and the hope that people would enjoy it.
What began in Malacca has now grown into five outlets across Johor and Klang Valley. And while it started with family, it’s become something bigger — a place where friends, families, and hotpot lovers gather to share meals and moments, one plate at a time.
